Somerset Studio is out!

So excited! Found out that some of the book stores had the new "Somerset Studio" and I ran right out to get my copy! Went to Barnes and Noble because a friend told me she saw it, went there and ours didn't have it, bummer! But then I went to Border's and they were holding a copy for me. So, as you can see I'm in it and I bought 2 copies, why, I don't know, maybe I'll frame one! I'll also be in "Where Women Create and Marie Vol.1. So I'll be stalking the stores for those copies too, haha!

Attic Findings!

So my hubby decided it's time to see what we've been hoarding in the attic all these years, haha! Well, his findings brought on some real emotions, these little smurfs were my kids and I'm not going to tell you how old my kids are but believe me when I say these ARE vintage, lol!

My New Earrings Arrived!

My new earrings arrived today in the mail! I love them! Thank you Kathi! They are "vintage cotton pearls" made in Japan in the 1940's. They have the most beautiful pearl finish I've ever seen on a pearl. If you want to know more about them check out her blog.

MY STUDIO

Thought I'd post a couple pictures of my studio where I create! I love this area but it's constantly work in progress! Just posting a couple of pics today and more to come, I hope you enjoy looking as I know I love seeing others. My inspiration comes from "the feathered nest"! I love her blog.

Here Comes The Sun!

Here's a few items in my Etsy shop to share with you! The pink beads and all the blue ones are vintage beads. All in limited supply!

Today was going to be a great day for taking pictures! Woke up kinda late this morning, came downstairs and knew I better start taking pics before I finish the newspaper and my coffee. The forecast said it wasn't going to be out all day, so I took some pics of new jewelry I made last night and a few pieces that needed better pics.

All three pieces are listed in my etsy shop!

And by the way, sun keeps going in and out with on and off snow! So it's a good thing I got my picture taking done.

New Items!

New items listed in my shop! Glass pendant with Eiffel Tower image, a beautiful pair of vintage bead earrings with "vintaj" brass bead caps! The vintage lilac opalescent rosebuds are so pretty! And then there's the clear glass vintage beads that I attached "vintaj" brass bead caps and lever back wires.

We have a major snow storm possible, always depends which path it decides to take. We love the snow but I'm anxious for spring and summer. We've had a lot of snow this winter but I am so ready for Spring and Summer as I'm sure you all are!

We are going to Florida in March so I think it's going to be a good day to do a little shopping for some new summer clothes!
