New Listings Coming Soon

Here are just a few new items I'll be listing in my Etsy shop in the next few days. One of my torch fused and hammered fine silver circles with a pink vintage crystal. Then something a little different for me, my handmade oxidized earwires with sweet little vintage crystals. And I mean different because I don't oxidize very often. So when you leave a comment I'd love to hear your preference on shiny sterling silver or oxidized. Lastly is an oxidized rolo chain again with my handmade clasp and a beautiful checkerboard vintage crystal from the 1940's. Love that vintage crystal, just can't get enough of it.

Just thought of this....I'm itching for another giveaway, have none planned at the moment so maybe I'll just randomly draw a name from the comments on this post for a really sweet .........hmmm...what will it be?????

NEW BIRD FEEDER

Here's another Target buy yesterday! A new birdfeed, we need to replace a few on our tree type hanger in our back yard and I just loved this one. And it was on clearance for $18.93, so I thought it's a good start at replacing them!

I sure hope you all enjoy posts like this....I know I do. In fact I've actually run right out and purchased several items when I've seen it on someone's blog. I still feel pretty new to the blogging world and wonder how did I ever managed without it! I love posting about things in my life and I love reading other blogs. I plan on posting a little more about my life, family and friends. Right now I have so many things lined up to blog about, pictures taken and all it will last me a month, lol!

OH MY...I'M BAD!

Just came back from Target and I could not help myself.....I just have to have some sweets in that studio room of mine! But I can be really bad and not know when to STOP! I'll let you all know when I reach the bottom. Hubby says he's going to keep track too, lol! I think I should have bought extra bags he didn't know about for refills, hehe!

Okay, So I'm Obsessed

Another order from dennisanderson came yesterday and even though I am crazy about his "pure romance" soap and have stocked up on it I thought I'd try another....Well now I'm crazy about this one too! So yes, I am now obsessed with 2 soaps! It's called "fresh linen shea butter" soap, yum! The smell is just divine.

NEW DRAGONFLY NECKLACE

Thought I'd share one of my new designs I just listed yesterday in my Etsy shop! It's a beautiful black shiney gem called a "hypersten stone. I wrapped a beautiful brass dragonfly around it and attached a white flower on it's back as if it's carrying the flower away!

Just to let you know I have a "special" going on in my shop! With any $20 or more purchase from my shop (excluding shipping) you have your choice of a free pair of earrings either made with sterling silver or brass, your choice! The turquoise bead in both pr. of earrings is a vintage swarovski bead.

SOME OF MY FAVORITES

Today I thought I'd share with you some of my favorite purchases! These are just a few because believe me, I've made a lot over the last couple of years. First is the "snowpeeps" from loblollystudio. They are so cute I ordered 5 this season from her. I can't wait to get more! Next is my all time favorite soap "pure romance" from dennisanderson. I just can't get enough of it! Yum! And last but not least is my beautiful necklace from jorgensenstudio, I first ordered the matching ring then my hubby bought the necklace for my birthday! It's a beautiful sunny day today in my part of Ohio and will be busy watch 4 yr. old grandson....so no studio work today!

STELLAR JAY

I ran across these gorgeous pictures on Flickr yesterday and wanted to share them with you all. I asked for permission to blog about and permission was granted. This is one of the most gorgeous birds I've ever seen and the photography is most excellent! It's called a "stellar jay", and the photographer is theeye on etsy. I'm thinking I'm going to need one of these pics from her and I don't usually buy pictures of birds. Go check out her shop for beautiful photography!

I FINALLY DID IT!!!!!

I've always seen these cute collages that others make with Picnik but have never been able to, probably because I don't take enough time OR have enough patience to learn! Well.....here's my first collage and I hope to just improve from now on! I want so bad to buy the premium upgrade to Picnik but I just had to purchase an upgrade to Flickr, so I'll have to wait! Just haven't figured out if there's a way to upload more than one pic at a time on Picnik.

Hope everyone's had a wonderful and sunny day today, 71 here in this part of Ohio! So happy to come home from 80's in Florida to 70's in Ohio, yippee!

I'M BACK FROM VACATION

Well, I'm back from vacationing in Florida and even though it was a beautiful warm, sunny week in Siesta Key it's always good to be back home! We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful week of warm and sunny weather, 83 t0 86 all week!

That's me doing what I do best on the beach, hunting down the most beautiful shells and boy did I find a lot.....including that "sea urchin"! There were tons of them every day washed up on the beach, so happy I found one that wasn't alive and could be taken home. I have some really gorgeous shells I will be showing you in the coming days, so stay tuned. Sunset on Siesta Key Beach was just beautiful and we made sure we were back home from dinner to enjoy it every night.

Our first night there we saw something that I never want to see again. I haven't decided if I want or should share with everyone. I will make my decision after I talk with my friend Kathi of "care to bead".

I have so much to do just getting back so stay tuned for more pics! One of the first things on my agenda today is to go buy that sweet caddy that Dawn from "the feathered nest" put on her blog and her new Walmart find, lot's of beads will go in it, I think I need 2! Now you'd think I'd be cleaning, doing lot's of laundry, grocery store and so on.......but I couldn't wait to get home and buy those 2 items because I so need to do more organizing of my studio!

I know....I said I wouldn't be posting any more this week, but it's such a thrill when someone let's you know they've featured you in their treasury! I'm in the hotel room about 6 hrs. from Florida and on hubby's laptop! Florida here we come......but not till tomorrow, gotta get some sleep, we've been on the road since 3:30 am, yikes!!!!! My Last Post For A Week

One last post before I leave for Florida! I'm going to try and post once or twice on hubby's lap top but we'll see! It's new but loading on it is horrible, guess I have no patience.

So here's a picture in my son's front yard in GEORGIA......yes you heard right, Georgia. They were all so excited to get this much snow, at one time he measured 6 inches and it was still coming down hard. They had been disappointed they didn't make it back here to Ohio to have some fun in the snow. Well......looks like the kids had their fun and Bailey too!

My Favorite Mug!

I have a lot of postings that I want to do on my blog but it's hard to concentrate right now because we are leaving for a trip to Florida this Friday March 6th! Yea! Warmer weather will be so awesome as we've had a long snowy winter here in Ohio! I'm probably not going to be blogging while I'm away but please don't forget me! I will return on Monday March 16th.

Also, my Lollishop and my Etsy shop will be open but I will not be able to send anything out until I return on Monday the 16th.

So today I thought I'd share one of my favorite morning things with you and that's having my coffee in my favorite mug! I love this mug! I purchased it about a year ago at TJ Maxx (love that store) and every time my husband washes it I pray he doesn't break it. It's just so old fashion and reminds me how when I was growing up I used to eat Rice Krispies and toast and peanut Butter almost every morning!

It's bright and sunny here today and 44 degrees and I hope you have sunshine too and are having a great day! xoxoxo candy

SNOW IN GEORGIA!

No, I don't live in Georgia but my son does and here's a couple of pictures he sent me! He lives on a golf coarse so that's why the golf carts. Will post a couple more tomorrow of my little Hailey and Alex playing in the snow. They didn't make it here to Ohio this winter and were really missing the snow. Who would have ever thought they'd have their own to play in.
